Prairie Pines Playhouse has been offering holiday theatre for groups of all sizes since 2004. We started out in a converted tractor barn designed for our Christmas Tree Farm business. Since that time, our venue has undergone many expansions and renovations. We now have the perfect layout with floor and tiered seating set in a rustic, comfortable, and cozy environment.
For the past 10 years, we have expanded past the holiday season and produced mystery dinners throughout the year. We now offer a three shows annually - our spring thriller, our lighthearded, summer comedic mystery, and an annual holiday mystery full of music and hilarity.
For our summer and holiday show, you can expect an all-inclusive evening designed for your complete entertainment. A high energy, hilarious mystery theatre production is played between our delicious 3 or 4-course dinner. These shows usually involve music and the actors and servers will serve dinner directly to your table. Actors will interact with guests throughout the night and we take time for special celebrations. You will be asked to solve the mystery at the end of the night.
Our new Thriller Series, played in the spring, will now offer a 3-course dinner served by our staff directly to your table. Dinner is followed by our thriller mystery, featuring an exciting, dangerous play filled with special effects designed to electrify. Dessert will be served at intermission. New desserts and specialty drinks will be introduced.
Our dinner menus change for each show. You can expect a traditional holiday meal during November and December. Food for our spring and summer shows will vary seasonally. Prairie Pines also offers a full bar and specialty drink menu.
Prairie Pines Playhouse has created the perfect environment for your group or company gathering. Our venue is ideal for company parties during the holidays or throughout the year.
