Frequently Asked Questions
When are your next auditions? Auditions are generally held in the Spring & announced through our facebook page.
How old do you need to be to audition? You need to be 18+ to audition.
What will the audition consist of? Auditions are approximately 20-30 minutes & consist of a short song (one you feel comfortable with) & cold reads from Prairie Pines scripts. An accompanist will be provided.
Are you only looking for performers who sing? No, while most of our shows have music we do have parts that don’t require singing. We would still like everyone to audition with a song so we can at least have an idea if performers can match pitch.
How long of a musical piece do I need to prepare? Standard musical pieces are generally 16 bars.
Are resumes and headshots required? It is not required but if you have one, please bring with you when you come in to audition.
